With its grey glacier-pattern dial, the Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date gives the impression of exploring the depths of a glacier whose minerals have remained frozen in time for millennia. Inspired by the Mer de Glace, this icy texture is created with an almost forgotten ancestral technique known as "gratté-boisé". This 41 mm model has an interchangeable black rubber strap with a grey outline that can easily be swapped for a stainless steel bracelet without visiting a boutique or using tools. It can also be adjusted on the wrist during a dive. Compliant with the ISO 6425 standard for diving watches, the watch is water-resistant to 300 metres and has luminescent markers that remain legible in low light.
