1 – Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Terms”) set out the conditions under which TREELANKS, operator of the website treelanks.com, sells its products to consumers and business customers for their own use.

All sales made by TREELANKS are governed exclusively by these Terms, which prevail over any other conditions unless expressly agreed in writing by the company.
They are available at any time in full on https://treelanks.com.

2 – Acceptance of the Terms

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read these Terms and accepts them without reservation.
Every confirmed order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

The contract between TREELANKS and the customer is formed when the company accepts the order.

3 – Products

TREELANKS offers watches and related accessories for sale.

Products presented on the website are offered subject to available stock. The company cannot be held liable for temporary supply shortages.

3.1 – Product quality

All products sold by TREELANKS are genuine, comply with applicable European standards and are ready for immediate use.

3.2 – Product presentation

Product photos and descriptions are as accurate as possible. Minor colour variations may occur depending on the customer’s screen and do not constitute a defect.

3.3 – Related products

The website treelanks.com also offers accessories and complementary products for watches.

4 – Orders

4.1 – Placing orders

Orders are placed exclusively online via https://treelanks.com, which is available 7 days a week.
Products delivered are intended solely for the customer’s own use. Any resale without written authorisation is strictly prohibited.

4.2 – Personal information

Confirming an order requires the customer to provide the personal data necessary for processing and delivery.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the customer has the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of their data, which they may exercise by email at hello@treelanks.com.

4.3 – Refusal of an order

TREELANKS reserves the right to refuse any order in the following cases:

technical impossibility of delivery;
incomplete or incorrect personal information;
full or partial non-payment of a previous order.

4.4 – Order confirmation

After the order is validated, the customer receives a confirmation email summarising the order and the applicable price.

5 – Delivery

5.1 – Delivery area and costs

Delivery is available in France and Europe. Delivery is free of charge for all orders, unless otherwise stated on the website at the time of ordering.

5.2 – Delivery times

Delivery times are given for information purposes and start from the order confirmation. If the delivery date is exceeded by more than 30 days, the customer may cancel the order under the conditions provided by law.

5.3 – Checking the parcel

The customer must check the products upon receipt and note any reservations on the delivery slip or report them to TREELANKS at hello@treelanks.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Once the delivery slip has been signed without reservation, no claim for visible damage will be accepted.

5.4 – Transfer of risk

Risks related to transport pass to the customer upon actual delivery of the products.

6 – Right of Withdrawal

6.1 – Withdrawal period

The customer has 30 days from receipt of the products to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason.

6.2 – How to exercise the right

To withdraw, the customer must notify TREELANKS of their decision by email at hello@treelanks.com, with a clear statement of their wish to withdraw (including the order number), within the 30-day period.

6.3 – Return conditions

Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging, unworn, unused and complete (box, documents, accessories, protective films and tags). A product showing signs of wear or damage beyond what is necessary to check its nature and operation may result in a reduction of the refund.

6.4 – Refund

TREELANKS will refund the customer, including the initial delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned products (or proof of shipment), using the same payment method as the original transaction.

7 – Prices

7.1 – Prices and price changes

Prices shown on treelanks.com are in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (VAT), unless otherwise stated.
TREELANKS reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The price applicable to an order is the one displayed at the time of ordering.

7.2 – Special offers

Special offers advertised on the website or by email are valid only for the stated period and while stocks last.

8 – Payment

8.1 – Immediate payment

All orders must be paid in full at the time of confirmation on the website treelanks.com.

8.2 – Payment security

Payments are processed through secure payment providers. TREELANKS does not store the customer’s bank card details.

8.3 – Late payment

Any late payment automatically makes the remaining balance immediately due and gives rise to late-payment interest at 1.5 times the legal interest rate (applicable to business customers).

9 – Legal Guarantees and Liability

9.1 – Legal guarantee of conformity

Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with applicable law. In particular, consumers are entitled to a legal guarantee of conformity of 2 years from delivery. To make a claim, the customer should contact TREELANKS at hello@treelanks.com.

9.2 – Limitation of liability

Products sold by TREELANKS are free from defects at the time of delivery.
The company is not liable in cases of:

improper use or non-compliant handling by the customer;
damage caused by unsuitable storage, impact, water exposure beyond the stated water resistance, or negligence.

10 – Retention of Title

Ownership of the products remains with TREELANKS until full payment by the customer.

11 – Consumer Mediation

In the event of a dispute, the customer may first contact TREELANKS at hello@treelanks.com. If no satisfactory solution is found, the consumer may use, free of charge, a consumer mediator: [NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS OF MEDIATOR]. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is also available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12 – Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. This does not deprive consumers of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence.
In the event of a dispute not resolved amicably, the courts with jurisdiction will be those determined by applicable law; for business customers, the courts of Meaux (France) have exclusive jurisdiction.
