This round 316L stainless steel case, suited to both men and women, has a brilliant polished finish, measuring 34mm in diameter and 9.2mm thick, with a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a Fleur-de-Lys-embossed, notched crown at 3 o’clock. The white dial has a sunray finish evoking the timeless glamour of Saint-Tropez, with silver dauphine hour and minute hands, a fine grey seconds hand, eleven pointed baton indexes (doubled at 12), a railway-style minute track with black Arabic numerals, and a white date window at 3 o’clock, signed ‘Manufacture Française’. Power comes from the in-house, bidirectional Pequignet Calibre Initial, French-made, with two international patents (including instant date-jump), 21 jewels, a stop-seconds function, an openworked oscillating mass decorated with the Fleur-de-Lys, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with a weekend-proof 65 hours of power reserve. The white, tone-on-tone stitched calfskin leather strap fits wrists from 15.5 to 19.5cm and closes with a polished 316L steel pin buckle; the screwed sapphire-window caseback provides 50 metres of water resistance.
