Montblanc Star Legacy Orbis Terrarum Around The World in 80 Days Limited Edition: 43 mm stainless steel case, automatic movement, calibre MB 29.20, water-resistant to 50 m, limited edition of 360 pieces.
Description
The story behind the Montblanc Star Legacy Orbis Terrarum Limited Edition 360 begins in 1872 with Jules Verne and his famous novel Around the World in Eighty Days. This tale, full of adventure and twists, still captures the imagination of young and old alike. The watch was created to accompany adventurers like Phileas Fogg and Passepartout on their journeys around the globe, with a manufacture world-time complication that shows 24 time zones at a glance. Phileas Fogg's journey is represented by 80 golden dashes on a multi-layered dial depicting a map of the world seen from the North Pole, which rotates along with the movement. The titanium case back is decorated with a 3D laser engraving that brings colour, depth and realism to the depiction of the majestic and faithful elephant Kiouni. The model is housed in a 43 mm polished stainless steel case and powered by the MB 29.20 automatic movement. It also comes with an interchangeable blue calfskin strap with alligator print. The adventure continues on the strap lining, embossed with the Chinese coins and Boteh leaves discovered during the 80-day journey.
