Description
Paying tribute to the world's highest peaks and to the mountaineers who dare to climb them in extreme conditions, the Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Chronograph 0 Oxygen The 8000 Limited Edition of 290 pieces is housed in a 44 mm titanium case that is completely free of oxygen. This offers several advantages for explorers: it eliminates fogging and prevents oxidation so the movement lasts much longer and runs with greater precision. Powered by the Montblanc manufacture chronograph with world-time complication, Calibre MB 29.27, this automatic movement includes a date at 3 o'clock and two rotating 3D globes, with the Northern Hemisphere at 12 o'clock and the Southern Hemisphere at 6 o'clock. Both hemispheres feature orange reference meridians, 14 dots marking the 8,000-metre peaks in the Northern Hemisphere, and day and night indications. The watch also has a black ceramic bidirectional fluted bezel with cardinal points and a 3D colour laser engraving on the case back showing the names and altitudes of the 14 eight-thousand-metre peaks. The luminescent indications on the bezel and dial are very practical for any outdoor adventure.
