Description
Paying tribute to the "Seven Summits" and dedicated to Mount Elbrus, Europe's highest peak and a dormant volcano rising 5,642 metres, the Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Zero Oxygen Mount Elbrus Limited Edition is a sophisticated world-time watch housed in a "zero oxygen" case made of titanium and an exclusive composite that includes volcanic ash, aluminised basalt fibres, CaCO3 and a bio-sourced resin containing 30% plant-based material. Echoing the adventure theme, the 43.5 mm case features a white outline of Mount Elbrus on its side, while a 3D colour laser engraving of the two peaks decorates the titanium case back. The dial combines a white and brown sfumato finish with a glacier pattern, and the bezel carries a light-grey anodised aluminium insert with luminescent indexes. The watch is powered by the MB 29.25 automatic movement with Montblanc's manufacture world-time complication, which includes rotating Northern and Southern Hemisphere globes, a 24-hour scale, a day/night indication, a second time zone and a date. An interchangeable rubber strap, available in ivory and light brown, completes the watch.
