Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph
Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph: 44.8 mm stainless steel case, automatic chronograph movement, calibre MB R200, water-resistant to 30 m.
Description
The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph pays tribute to the French watchmaker who made history by inventing the first ink chronograph, patented in 1821. The watch features the two famous rotating discs aligned horizontally, one for the 60-second counter and the other for the 30-minute chronograph counter, turning beneath a fixed double index as on the original instrument. Both counters and the off-centre hour and minute ring are domed to create a striking 3D effect. It is powered by the renowned manufacture automatic monopusher column-wheel chronograph calibre MB R200, which can be admired through the sapphire case back. The calibre has two barrels that store enough energy for a 72-hour power reserve. The watch is housed in a 44.8 mm stainless steel case with an anthracite dial and an anthracite sfumato alligator strap made in the Maison's leather workshop in Florence, Italy.
