The Montblanc Star Legacy line draws on the heritage of Minerva and the company's pocket watches made in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Montblanc Star Legacy Full Calendar comes in an elegant 42 mm stainless steel case with straight horns and steps on the side, and includes several design cues from that era: a rounded, polished, pebble-shaped case; an onion crown with the recognisable Montblanc emblem; and a refined, legible dial with the iconic exploding-star guilloché pattern. This model features Roman numerals and blue leaf-shaped hands. Other dial details include a railway track with dots and a "filet sauté" running around the periphery of the dial, a date hand with a red half-moon tip and an elegant Montblanc emblem on the seconds-hand counterweight. The watch is powered by the automatic calibre MB 24.30, which indicates the hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month and moon phase. The day of the week and the month appear in windows on the upper half of the dial, while the lower half is reserved for the moon-phase display. The watch comes on a blue sfumato alligator leather strap.
