Description

This round stainless steel case measures 30mm in diameter with a polished finish, topped with a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a star-embossed, notched crown at 3 o’clock for the hours, minutes and date. The white-silver dial is finished with brushed ‘star-trail’ stamped lines and a sunray effect, with a central day/night display showing a watercolour-painted sky changing colour over 24 hours through a crescent-moon aperture. Rose-gold-plated (18K) leaf-shaped hands and a fine seconds hand (with a logo counterweight) point to a railway-style minute track and eleven rose-gold-plated indexes, three as floral Arabic numerals and the rest as diamond-set round markers, with an almond-shaped date window at 6 o’clock. Montblanc’s in-house automatic MB 24.20 calibre, with 25 jewels, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 42 hours of power reserve. The watch comes with an interchangeable white alligator-pattern calfskin strap and a dark blue smooth calfskin strap, each with a polished steel pin buckle, and the transparent caseback provides 30 metres of water resistance.
