Description

This round stainless steel case measures 34mm in diameter with a bright polished silver finish, topped with a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a notched, logo-embossed crown at 3 o’clock for setting the time and date. The white-silver dial is finished with brushed ‘star-trail’ stamped lines and a sunray effect, its rose-gold-plated leaf-shaped hour and minute hands and fine seconds hand (with a star-shaped counterweight) pointing to rose-gold indexes, floral Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12, and diamond-set hour markers elsewhere. An almond-shaped date window sits at 6 o’clock, and a central day/night display with a crescent-moon-shaped aperture shows a watercolour-painted sky changing colour over 24 hours, for a poetic, romantic touch. Montblanc’s in-house automatic MB 24.20 calibre, with 25 jewels, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 42 hours of power reserve, and is visible through the four-screw transparent caseback that provides 30 metres of water resistance. The watch comes with an interchangeable white alligator-pattern calfskin strap and a dark blue smooth calfskin strap, both with a silver pin buckle.
